I bought this book as a gift for my 14 year old grandson. He loved it!! Its a great book. You learn about Italian culture, history and art in a very entertaining and fun way. The Author did a great job!! I will definitely buy this book again for my 2 granddaughters. Highly recommend it!!

I'm 9 years old, and I just finished reading this book. I liked all the characters, especially Pasquale because he was funny. Bischero was interesting because he was a Druid, and I never knew about Druids. The "Did You Know" section helped me learn about people who lived in Italy during the medieval times. The illustrations were colorful, and made it easy to imagine the characters and their adventures. If I took a trip to Italy, this book would really help me because it shows so many neat places to visit. It's also just a fun book to read!

Easy to read, and the history is spot on! We just left Florence & I had our book with us, it was like a tour guide! Highly recommend.A good read & good history

Loved the book!!! My grandson Clifford isn't old enough to read it yet but I know he will like it when he does!!!
